Our Library

Agricola Elementary School is located in a rural community in George County, Mississippi. Our library services almost six hundred students from preschool through sixth grade. Our school library is focused on exposing the students to the great world around them through books and media experiences. All of our students come to the library once a week. The students are encouraged to find books that expand their imagination. It is a priority in the library to read aloud to our students every week. The books chosen to be read aloud are used to enhance and start conversations of growth mindset, embracing diversity, and overcoming struggles. Students are always encouraged to “be the change.” Our library is not just a place for educational research or recreational reading. The library is a place for our students to come and create their own “Terabithia;” a place where kids win, their needs are a priority, and their voice matters. When our students visit the library, we hope to give them the tools that they need to make our community and world a better place.

About us
This is not your average school library. We love to explore the world and engage our minds through the wonderful pages of a book. You never know what will be happening in the Warrior Library!
Programs

Each year we have super prizes for students who reach their Accelerated Reader goals. We also provide incentives for students who accept various reading challenges throughout the year.
